Grassfed Whey Protein: A proprietary non-denatured native whey protein concentrate, produced to maintain the full range of all the fragile immune boosting and regenerative components naturally present in fresh raw milk. Naturally Nourished Grassfed Whey protein is produced using proprietary filtration and drying which involves minimal processing. This unique production method ensures the whey is not subjected to temperatures that would destroy the original components. We do not use cross-flow filtration, microfiltration, hydrolyzation or ion exchange methods which denature the original proteins.
This full range, biologically active, complete amino acid profile native protein naturally contains an exceptional amount of the critical glutathione precursor covalent bonded cysteine. Glutathione is the most potent antioxidant working to reduce heavy metal toxicity, reverse coronary artery calcification, aid in respiratory function, protect cellular health, and promote detoxification. Additionally, our unique grass-fed whey contains the full range of the most important immune supportive protein components, including lactoferrin, immunogloblins, IGG, serum albumin, and other beneficial growth factors supportive in treating leaky gut and autoimmune conditions.
The milk harvested for this product comes from cows that graze year-round on pesticide-free and chemical-free natural grass pastures. Milk from grass-fed cows has higher levels of conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) and contains a proper balance of essential fatty acids both which have favorable outcomes on metabolism, lean body mass, brain health, and cancer prevention. The milking cows are never fed grain or subjected to any growth hormones, chemicals, antibiotics, genetically modified organisms, hyperimmunization or injected pathogens.

Unique benefits to my Naturally Nourished Grassfed Whey:
• Gastrointestinal Health: Systemic and Gut Immunity – Whey contains biologically active molecules capable of enhancing intestinal health through various mechanisms, including prebiotic effects, antimicrobial and antiviral properties, immune support, and in helping to repair gut permeability. Glycomacropeptide and lactoferrin have been shown to support the growth of beneficial Bifidobacteria. (references 1-3)
• Bone Health – Milk basic protein (MBP), a fraction of whey, was found to be a promoter of bone health by stimulating osteoblasts, inhibiting osteoclastic activity and improving bone density. (references 3,10)
• Immunoglobulins (include IgG1, IgG2, IgA and IgM) – help bind and inactivate bacteria in the GI tract. IgG has been shown to also
bind the toxin produced by Clostridium difficile, thus reducing the severity of this infection.(1)
• Glycomacropeptide – a powerful stimulator of cholecystokinin, an appetite suppressing hormone that has essential roles related to
GI function. Glycomacropeptide also inhibits the cholera toxin by binding to receptors in the intestinal tract. (1)
• Lactoferrin – possesses metal-binding properties for Fe, Cu, Zn, and Mn. It is also a delivery vehicle of essential metals to the newborn. Lactoferrin acts as support for the non-specific immune system, playing a strategic role in the first line of defense against many pathogens that enter the body via mucosa. Lactoferrin has bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity against gram-negative, gram-positive bacteria and H. pylori.(9) Lactoferrin also demonstrates anti-inflammatory activity. (3) Fungicidal activity, particularly against Candida species. Lactoferrin inhibits replication of viruses in the early phase of an infection and prevents entry of viruses into the host cell.(1-3)
Naturally Nourished Grassfed Whey is a superior protein powder!
Whey is superior to plant based proteins based on amino acid composition and bioavailability as lectin/anti-nutrient free. Whey has been shown to be the most absorbable protein and with the best amino acid balance for muscle synthesis and repair.
Grassfed Whey is superior to Whey as milk from grassfed cows has higher levels of conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) and contaings a proper balance of esstential fatty acids with low toxicity.
Naturally Nourished Non-denatured Grassfed Whey is superior to other forms as it has the heat sensitive immunoglobuins, antioxidants, and whole food health supporting compounds.
When comparing to Orgain Clean Whey, we have a difficult time understanding how they are able to use the word "clean" in the first place as their protein powder has over 13 ingredients, many of them additives, non-caloric sweeteners, inflammatory industrialized oils, and fillers that drive up carbs to 12g.
Our Grassfed Whey has only ONE ingredient whey protein concentrate and as noted on our label side panel it is sourced from New Zealand Grassfed cows in a proprietary low-heat extracted form which maintains the heat sensitive therapeutic compounds supporting immune, growth, satiety, and antioxidants!
How to Use
As my Grassfed Whey is non-denatured and does not have additives, it will perform very different than most protein powders or even other forms of whey you may have worked with. The powder is very airy due to the patented low-heat extraction process that aids in bioavailability of the vital nutritional compounds. This means that if you over-mix the grassfed whey it will create a foam.
My recommendation is to blend your shake or smoothie ingredients first and then add in the scoop of whey at the very end to just incorporate for 5 seconds in the blender or simply whisk or stir in manually.
I use this product in a lot of grain-free baking recipes as well to boost protein content in almond flour muffins or my daughter's almond butter pancakes in my Anti-Anxiety Diet Cookbook.
We recommend 1-2 scoops daily for adults and 1/2-1 scoop for kids.

Whey protein, rich in muscle-building amino acids—especially leucine—is one of the best protein sources for increasing muscle protein synthesis, and thus, the growth of lean muscle.
Twenty grams of whey protein isolate has been shown to maximally stimulate muscle protein synthesis.
Myofibrillar muscle protein synthesis rates subsequent to a meal in response to increasing doses of whey protein at rest and after resistance exercise | The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition | Oxford Academic
Thirty grams, 2x/day was shown to stimulate muscle protein synthesis significantly better than collagen—with and without resistance exercise.
Twenty grams of whey protein taken after exercise significantly increased skeletal muscle mass, grip strength, and gait speed in healthy older women with sarcopenia.
When combined with resistance exercise, whey protein significantly increases lean body mass.
Whey enhances workout recovery as seen in these studies:
Consuming 25 grams of whey protein after strenuous resistance exercise was shown to improve whole-body net protein balance and overnight performance recovery.
A recent meta-analysis also found overall positive effects of whey protein on the recovery of muscle function following resistance exercise.
Whey can also promote satiety and support health body weight:
Whey protein has been shown to decrease hunger, the desire to eat, and food consumption in obese adults. After 12 weeks, body fat was significantly reduced compared to controls.
It has also been shown to significantly moderate blood glucose levels 30 minutes post-consumption.
When used as a supplement combined with resistance exercise or as part of a weight-loss or weight-maintenance diet, whey protein has also been shown to improve body composition parameters.
