Consistency is key for chronic inflammation and disease management. In some chronic cases of inflammation such as rheumatoid arthritis studies have shown 8-12 weeks of use as time needed to start to benefit from the anti-inflammatory effects and over time aiding in reduction of NSAID drug use.
Note: Although this is safe for kids the pill size is rather large, please consider your child’s ability to swallow large gel capsules and see gallery image if considering for a child or adult who has difficulty swallowing large pills.

Can I take Super Turmeric with my medication?
Always consult your medical team when looking to add supplements to your medication list. There is known drug interaction with blood thinners and high doses of turmeric can interfere with p450 enzymes in the liver impacting how drugs are metabolized.
There is no upper level of toxicity established for turmeric or curcumin; however this compound may have blood thinning effects at high doses.
Individuals on blood thinning therapy, or anyone with gallstones, ulcers, and GI inflammatory conditions should be monitored closely by their physician. Note: due to turmerics anticoagulant nature, it is advised to stop supplementation 3-5 days pre-operatively or advised by your healthcare team.
How quickly should it take to feel the pain relief?

Doesn’t turmeric require black pepper to enhance absorption?
It’s true, a lot of studies demonstrate that curcuminoids are enhanced in the presence Bioperine an active antioxidant in black pepper, however, we have studied Super Turmeric in comparison to these formulas and found the unique patented emulsification has enhanced bioavailability 4-6x that of a curcuminoid Bioperine blend.
Also we elected to stay with pure turmeric to avoid issue for those sensitive to black pepper as I have clinically experienced individuals that have digestive disturbance and heartburn with use of the combo formulas.
I already cook with turmeric, how much do I really need?
Naturally occurring turmeric root powder contains only 5-7% curcumin and each teaspoon of fresh or organic dried root has about 200mg turmeric. This means about 14mg curcuminoids in each tsp and at limited bioavailability or absorption unless combined with black pepper and healthy fats. It would take over 20 tsp to start to hit an effective dosage.
